A world is taking shape.

The first scenes of the script, illustrated characters and musical demos give the project a face and a voice. They offer a glimpse of the story before rehearsals begin.

Helping the songs grow.

We have approached conservatoire musicians and musicians in Scotland, particularly for the bagpipes. Work on the scores and arrangements is preparing the songs for the performers and the stage.

Contributions will be introduced as they take shape, along with the people behind them.

Connecting fiction with history.

Real places and historical events inform the story, which takes creative liberties to bring the characters to life.

From the page to the voices.

Meeting singers and musicians, organising readings, trying out the songs together and preparing rehearsals: these steps still lie ahead.
